I sold my first business when I realised I needed more of a creative outlet. That wasn't failure. That was the whole point.

The best business advice I ever got didn't come from a course or a book. It came from a McCafé manager who helped me carry a double pram up the stairs.
At the time I was running two businesses out of the spare room of a shady little cottage, with two small kids and about zero sleep. I was drowning.
