Click ’n Go trays are prepped and ready for our next green roof project, at our nursery near Hamilton NZ. Looking forward to exciting things ahead in the year to come. 🌱

What a difference 3 months makes! 🌿✨
Our in Westmere, Auckland NZ is bursting with life — native grasses, sedums and succulents all thriving together.

We used a mix of Click ’n Go trays and our own plug-planted system across multiple roof areas, and the results speak for themselves. 😍🌱

Love seeing how natives, succulents and sedums can complement each other and create such a beautiful, resilient roofscape.

Final maintenance visit done for this beautiful project in Mt Maunganui, and the green roof is looking amazing! 🌿🌸

The native pink ice plant is bursting with colour alongside the sedums and succulents, creating a lush, vibrant rooftop. The local birds are loving the Click ’n Go trays — and so are our clients!

🌱 Growing knowledge + green roofs across Aotearoa! 💚

When Troy Smith, a student from the University of Waikato reached out about his green roof project, we were stoked to help out! 🙌

Using plants from our nursery, Troy built a mini green roof, collected data, and found they can retain up to 80% of stormwater during rainfall! 🌧️

Even better — both natives and succulents/sedums performed really well 🌿

We loved being part of this project and supporting the next generation of green roof champions. Awesome work Troy👏

It’s a wrap! 180m2 Greenroofs Ltd lightweight sedum and succulent completed. Thank you the weather was amazing and scenery spectacular. The mountains and the lake take your breath away. Great to know that the green roof will be contributing a small part to this stunning .

What an amazing location to install a - in the South Island NZ with snow capped mountains as the backdrop.

First time using geotextile drainage cell, so easy to use.

End of day 3 and 1/4 of the roof has been planted with sedums and succulents and irrigation installed.

What a difference a month makes! The growth on the on a residential project in in is amazing. The roof uses a mixture of click’n go trays and a system using plug planted native plants. Together the sedums, succulents and native plants will thrive in the coastal environment.

We can’t wait to see what it looks like in a few months’ time! 🌱

Best of both worlds - a green roof project in Westmere in NZ which utilises click’n go trays with sedums and a plug planted semi-intensive . Installed across 7 roof areas of various sizes with irrigation. Can’t wait to see the plant growth over the next couple of months.

Revisits to Puhinui Train Station and a bus stop at Mangere in South Auckland show all the different colours that make green roofs interesting to look at, at different times of the year. Heading into Spring and after recent rain, they are looking great!!
