🌸 Your cycle isn’t something to fight, it’s something to honour 🌸

For many women, the days leading up to our cycle can bring PMS symptoms like bloating, cravings, fatigue, mood changes, tenderness and feeling a little more emotionally sensitive.

And while we can’t always make those symptoms disappear, we can change the way we meet them.

Instead of pushing through, ignoring what your body is asking for, or expecting yourself to function at 100% every day of the month, try creating a little cycle calm ritual 💕

✨ Slow down and breathe deeply
✨ Apply your magnesium balm to your lower abdomen or lower back
✨ Use gentle warmth with a wheat bag
✨ Make yourself a warm herbal tea
✨ Nourish yourself with comforting, wholesome food
✨ Give yourself permission to rest
✨ Create a little space to check in with how you’re actually feeling

Self-care during this phase isn’t about being indulgent. It’s about listening to your body and responding with kindness.

Your cycle is part of you, not an inconvenience you need to overcome.

So this month, instead of asking “How do I push through this?” try asking…

“What does my body need from me today?” 🌷

A little ritual. A little softness. A little more permission to slow down.

Honour your cycle. Honour yourself. 🫶

There was a time I believed I had to prove my worth. To be everything to everyone. To never be replaced. But life has a way of humbling you. It strips away titles, expectations, and the need for validation until you’re left with what truly matters, your character 🫶

I learnt that someone else can always do what I do. They can coach, create, inspire, or build something similar…

What they can’t replace is the heart behind it. The lessons I’ve lived. The compassion I’ve gained through pain. The way I choose to serve others because of what I’ve walked through.

Humility reminds me I’m not above anyone. Wisdom reminds me I was never meant to be anyone else. My value has never been in being the only one, it has always been in being authentically me 🥰 x

Why do I train? 🥰

It’s a question I come back to often.

For me, training isn’t about chasing perfection. It’s about feeling strong, capable, and looking after the body I get to live in every day.

Some weeks I lift heavy. Some weeks I move gently. Some weeks I simply do what I can. Every season has something different to teach me, and I’ve learned that consistency doesn’t have to look the same every day.

As a coach, I enjoy helping others find movement they genuinely enjoy and a way of training that supports their life, not take away from it. Because when exercise becomes something you get to do, rather than something you feel you have to do, it can become a form of self-care instead of pressure.

I train for my health, my family, my mind, and my future.

And that’s enough for me 🤗

Why do you train? I’d love to hear what keeps you coming back x

Sometimes the greatest shift isn’t changing your circumstances, it’s changing the space between what happens and how you respond 😌

Life will continue to bring moments that challenge us. People may misunderstand us. Old wounds may still whisper. Difficult emotions will still arise.

Healing isn’t about becoming someone who is never triggered…

It’s about becoming someone who pauses.

Someone who chooses curiosity over assumption.
Grace over criticism.
Presence over impulse.

That pause is where growth lives.

Not because you suddenly have all the answers, but because you’re learning that you no longer have to let every emotion make the decision for you.

Perhaps today isn’t about trying to become a better version of yourself.

Perhaps it’s simply about meeting yourself with enough compassion to choose your next step with intention 🥰

In a world that celebrates being busy, burn out, and putting what your body needs second, choosing to slow down is a quiet act of self-love 🥰

Love for yourself.
Love for your home.
Love for the moments that ask nothing of you except to simply be present.

Whether it’s a warm bath, the scent of peppermint and coffee filling the room, or the comfort of surrounding yourself with nature, these little rituals remind us that peace is often found in the simplest moments.

Rest isn’t something we earn it’s something we deserve.

Today, give yourself permission to pause, breathe deeply, and embrace the beauty of slowing down 💚
