The Equetech Inferno Winter Heated Riding Gloves are a must-have for those who don't want to be stopped by the cold weather this season. Perfect for riders of all levels, trainers, and grooms, these gloves are based on Equetech's popular Storm Gloves but equipped with carefully placed heat panels over the back of the hand which are powered by compact rechargeable battery units.

These panels can be easily activated or deactivated with a simple button located on the wrist, and help to provide warmth exactly where your hands need it. The battery units are located in the cuff of each glove, and can be easily removed when required through a waterproof zip, and conveniently charged through a standard USB cable.

Engineered with a three layer construction, the Inferno Gloves boast a waterproof membrane which is sandwiched between a DWR outer fabric and a cosy microfleece lining. Across the palm of the hand is a grip fabric which ensures a secure feel on the reins, and there are reinforced finger panels in high wear areas to enhance durability.

The index fingers on these Equetech Gloves also have smartphone touchscreen compatible panels, meaning you can use them with your phone without have to get your hands back out in the cold! Finished with adjustable Velcro strapa for a comfortable, snug fit, plus an extended length with stretch storm cuffs for extra coverage, these Inferno Gloves are the ultimate companion for when the freezing temperatures roll around.

Memberships for the 2026/2027 New Zealand Show Horse Council season are now open, and we'd love to welcome new faces to our community.

Whether you're a seasoned competitor, bringing out a young horse for the first time, or simply looking to become part of a supportive and passionate show horse family, NZSHC membership opens the door to a fantastic season of competition and camaraderie.

New memberships are $75 per member and include eligibility to compete for member awards and prizes throughout the season.

This year is particularly special as we celebrate 10 years of the New Zealand Show Horse Council, with our milestone Grand Nationals Qualifier in Taupō, 19–21 November 2026.
