Yesterday we honoured one of our own.
A Cambridge Rowing Club member, coach, mentor, KRI volunteer, friend, wife and mother, Harvey Nelson.

Harvey was inducted posthumously as a Life Member of Cambridge Rowing Club and continuing a CRC tradition of Life Members having a boat named after them, Harvey’s husband Tony and daughter Courtney were in attendance to unveil the Harvey Nelson quad and receive Harvey’s life member badge and reveal her name on our Honours board.

To Harvey, Tony and Courtney, we will row your boat with pride and when she gets washed and dried down we’ll be sure to do some towel flicks in your memory 🩵💙

CRC Masters on Tour.

Over the weekend our El Presidente Peter Fraser who is away having a Euro summer, timed his trip to perfection to be in Munich for the European Masters Championships.
Pete competed in 3 events racing in CRC colours with some great results against some tough and experienced competition.

Mens D 1x = 4th place
Men’s E 1x = 3rd place
Men’s F 1x = 5th place

After a weekend at the regatta racing and socialising, it’s time for Pete and his very understanding wife Sonya, to enjoy their well deserved Euro summer holiday. ☀️
