Eight New Zealand studs opened their doors over the weekend to showcase the stallion talent on offer this season. Amongst the horses turning heads with breeders, buyers, and bloodstock agents were exciting new additions Charyn and The Foxes, Champion Sire Proisir, and emerging favourite Armory.

Chaldean’s momentum in the sale ring continued overnight on the opening day of trade at the Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale.
His filly out of the Listed-placed Dark Angel mare Fauvette was knocked down to SackvilleDonald/ Manor House Stables for £140,000 (NZ$320,000), making her the top-priced lot by a first-season sire at the opening session.

Chaldean has made his mark at his first European yearling sale, with a 100% clearance rate at Arqana.
His first yearlings averaged €202,000 - approximately NZ$396,000. A hugely encouraging start for our dual Gr.1 winning son of Frankel.
