🏁 Off-Season Update
Bit of an update from us I’ll try not to dribble on too much!

🏎️ The Car is Ready!
She’s completely good to go. We’ve got a brand new diff in to try out big thanks to Big Daddy (Paul)! We’ve gone over the entire car top to bottom, fixed up my brake issues, replaced bent parts, tackled some minor steelwork, and repainted the chassis to give her a bit of a tidy up. Safe to say we're pretty much prepped and ready for next season with our first practice being only 8 weeks away now

🛡️ Joining the Eastern States Titans
Some of you may have heard about the return of the Eastern States Titans Stockcar Team. We’ve put our hands up to join the development team! Teams racing is something I’ve always wanted to be apart of and to me its the pinnacle of stockcar racing so I'm excited for the opportunity

🏆 Prize Giving
Back in June, we had our local club prize giving, and I was lucky enough to be awarded the most improved stockcar driver trophy

🛠️ Light Engineering Services
You might have noticed the page has rebranded, again, slightly. I've been slowly setting up a workshop space in collaboration with Jared at Bridgestone Tyre Centre Blenheim!

Soon we'll be open for steelwork including bumpers, wheelgates, siderails and more along with a fitting service if required, on top of steel fabrication we're also open to taking on other weekend jobs for your racecar such as general mechanical & electrical work and more

We’ve already knocked out a few projects,
A new front bumper, a rusty car trailer overhaul, a bumper corner repair for a new local car and a new welding table frame for our new space

With purchasing a new house, being pretty busy with work and having two young kids spare time has been in short supply, but we are making slow but steady progress

Huge thanks as always to everyone supporting us, stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the season

Season Finale - ANZAC Weekend at eastern states speedway

Friday night, 16 cars, I can’t remember grids.

Race 1 - Finished 3rd
Race 2 - DNF after a hit to the left front - bent steering arm, destroyed a tyre and (as we later found out) cracked the brake caliper
Race 3 - Finished 3rd again… crossed the line and went for the brakes into the corner, pedal straight to the floor. The caliper had literally split apart lucky it held on until the last lap.

Saturday night, 19 cars (including a couple of superstocks)

Race 1 - DNF off the start, lift arm broke causing the diff to rotate back, very lucky there was no damage to the driveshaft or gearbox.
Race 2 - Finished 5th
Race 3 - Last race of the season so we mixed it up a bit, did some blocking which was completely new to me and generally made a nuisance of myself

Not really doing a full season recap as I’ve only run 6 meetings in the new car and a couple in the old one, but we’ve still managed:

3rd at King of the Coast (Greymouth)
2nd in Best Pairs at home

My main goal has just been getting seat time and gaining more experience by racing in larger packs, But I am still pretty new to it all.

The car has already started to be stripped down for a tidy up over winter, nothing major planned as nothing big needs to be done other than a general tidy up and paint to go with a new design.

I just want to say a big thanks and huge appreciation to Bridgestone Tyre Centre Blenheim for backing me and also supporting the local club & stockcar class!

And of course, massive thanks to all our sponsors we couldn’t do it without you. We have also still got room on the car too if anyone’s keen to jump on board and show their name or brand on a fairly competitive car👍

46E Stockcar – Easter Weekend Highlights 2026 | Blenheim & Nelson 13/04/2026

Full races from Blenheim’s Easter Weekend are now uploaded, with Nelson still to come. But here's a highlight reel

Unfortunately, we didn’t have a camera for King of the Coast, so there won’t be any footage from that event.

Thanks to Morgan Dumelow Motorsport for kitting us up with a Go Pro for the two nights

👑 King of the Coast 🥉

Big weekend down in Greymouth after a long haul there, and an even longer one back this morning in the crap weather.

Race 1 – Grid 19 to 7th, nice clean run.

Race 2 – Grid 6, got stuck in the slush early and tangled up, back to last but worked through to 10th just staying out of trouble.

Race 3 – Grid 8, absolute carnage… more red lights than racing with roll overs everywhere. Tried to avoid it but i finally got some attention and got punted which seen me go into the wall backwards, somehow managed to recover and come back through to finish around 3rd/4th.

That was enough to put us 3rd equal on points and into my first ever run off. Started inside, got a good run into turn one, pushed the other car out wide and slipped through, then just ran for it and came home with the win.

All in all it was an awesome weekend and to be the only "E" stockcar I am pretty stoked. Only real issue was a slipping clutch that kept getting worse through the afternoon, and to top it off we ran out of fuel driving the car into the trailer after the run off… think I might’ve used up all my luck!

Big thanks to Greenstone Park Speedway for putting on an awesome meeting, it was my first time racing there and we will definitely be coming back for more next season.

Massive thanks to Mum, Paul and Harley for the help over the weekend, and especially to Chloe for once again holding the fort with the two kids so I could travel.

Finally huge shout out to those that help us do these things!

Good night out at Eastern States last Saturday for stockcar best pairs

First run in the new car, teamed up with 7E Max Baker and we managed to come away with 2nd place.

Still getting the feel of the new car but it felt good all night and even managed to beat my personal lap record already.

Then backed it up Sunday spending the day at the hospice car show trying to promote our club, was a good turnout and awesome to be part of it.

Cheers to everyone who helps out each week, appreciate it

Our next meeting will be Easter weekend with two nights racing in Blenheim, one night in Nelson followed by Greymouth the following weekend for King of the coast!
