The bikes haven’t quite found their final resting place yet… but they’re loving being back in a BIG garage.
Hubby will install the Steadyrack System on the plywood wall. Super easy to use and keeps the bikes out of the way
And rather than filling the van with bikes and losing precious moving space we’re riding one bike home at a time! 🚲😜. Can’t wait to be finished, almost there!

🎉 Happy 60th birthday, Astoria–Megler bridge
At 6.5km long, the Astoria–Meglar
Bridge crosses the Columbia river, connecting Washington state and Oregon. She was a massive highlight of our USA trip in 2024. 🇺🇸🚲
Cycling across it was one of those experiences you don’t forget. and fortunately for us, the weather played ball… it wasn’t too windy or wet! 😂
There’s a shoulder just wide enough for cyclists, you’re aware of the traffic beside you. but surprisingly, that wasn’t the biggest issue…
It was the dead seabirds lying along the bridge where you needed to ride. 😬
Sadly, the birds are killed through accidental collisions with moving vehicles and the bridge’s steel structure.
Happy 60th, Astoria–Meglar bridge — you’re one impressive piece of engineering! 🎂

We absolutely LOVE our new home with its massive garage, the open-plan flow, sunshine and mountain views are amazing

Peak Safety Ltd Outdoor First Aid Refresher compete.
Always learn something new and particularly find the scenarios worthwhile to participate in.
This is my fifth course with Peak Safety and the real life photos/videos always get me but this time it was more related to patient pain rather than gross looking!
Finally visited the garden I used to stare down at from my hospital bed back in January.
