We’re on the lookout for some more golf balls for the Tony Tourell Golf Programme!
Over the years, we’ve been very lucky to have the community supply us with golf balls, but our supply does get a little depleted over time. We love being able to send tamariki home with a few balls so they can get out on the course and keep playing after hopefully enjoying their day with us and being part of the programme.
So, if you’ve got a stash of golf balls hidden away that you’d like to get rid of and know they’ll be well used, we’d love to hear from you!
Flick us a message through the page or give me a txt/call.

Cheers to everyone who has donated balls over the years – they definitely get put to good use! 🏌️♀️🏌️♂️

Cross country season is well underway, and it’s been great to see everyone out there, giving it a crack.
Congrats to all those making these events happen, tamariki, schools, teachers, parents and volunteers, from individual school events, through to cluster cross countries and the SOPSSA event last week.
Cross country is a great opportunity for tamariki to challenge themselves, build fitness and resilience, enjoy the outdoors and compete alongside their mates, with the added bonus of a quality burger or snag courtesy of Clinton School!
For some, the next step will be the Otago Cross Country in Dunedin in September. The Wednesday cross country sessions are also taking place at the Balclutha motocross track from 4:30pm–5:15pm for all ages and abilities. Just turn up!

Congratulations Carla! Great to see people in the district being recognised for their contributions, both in an active capacity and through mahi behind the scenes. Well deserved!
