A rare Pasifika singles contest comes to Western Springs as Sean Tohi meets JL Gold for the first time at COLD WAR.

While Pasifika wrestlers have stood alongside one another in tag team and multi-man competition for generations, singles contests between them have been far less common. Representing Tonga and Vanuatu respectively, Sean Tohi and JL Gold step into the ring in a collision that echoes the South Pacific Fighting Spirit at the heart of NJPW TAMASHII.

With neither man known for taking a backwards step, Western Springs is set to witness one of the most physical contests on the COLD WAR card.

After two losses in tag team competition in Auckland, Kawa Kupa went back down south and returned with backup. Teaming with Christchurch newcomer Luka, with Archie Bower in their corner, the trio arrive at COLD WAR in Western Springs to launch a crusade against NJPW veteran Don Fale.

But The Don doesn't sweat challengers. Teaming with new associate Tyler Ernst, Fale has been a major player within wrestling's baddest factions, from BULLET CLUB to House of Torture.

Matching his brother-in-arms, OSKAR has joined Yuto-Ice in qualifying for G1 Climax 36!

Last night at Tokyo's Korakuen Hall, OSKAR secured the final place in B Block, following Yuto-Ice's qualification for A Block just days earlier.

Just over a year ago in Māngere, OSKAR and Yuto competed in the tournament final to crown the inaugural NJPW TAMASHII Tag Team Champions. Entering the Fale Dojo system together in 2019, the Knock Out Brothers now enter New Japan Pro-Wrestling's premier tournament as elite singles competitors on the world stage.

Congratulations to OSKAR and Yuto-Ice. The pride of the NZ Dojo continues to grow.
