One of the biggest lessons I learned this week as a coach was knowing when a client no longer needs me standing beside them every step of the way.

My goal has never been to have clients rely on me forever. It's to give them the knowledge, confidence and structure to keep progressing for life.

If you’ve been stretching, walking, attending group exercise classes or doing You Tube workouts for ages and you’re not getting the results you’d expect, the missing link isn’t effort. You’re doing a great job. The missing piece is what I call “Structure” - matching effort with goals. Then within that is the system inside and the coaching to support it. That’s how real change happens for the long-term. To keep living the life you want to.

Most people think strength training means pushing to your absolute max every session. It doesn’t. In Michaela’s Method, I coach clients to choose the correct weight for the structure - not the heaviest weight possible. Progress comes from many things and consistency, control and correct loading are a few of the factors. Strength isn’t chaos. It’s a system. And this is how it should look. These cards represent a new chapter. A training system I've been quietly working on, in the gym, over the last few years, behind the scenes. It may seem unimportant to you, but a huge amount of time, energy and commitment has gone into this moment. And now it's something tangible and real. I'm grateful for where it's led me, excited for what's ahead and glad to be guiding a new small, selected group of clients on their new journey.
