The prestigious 2026 Tennis Auckland Awards were held on Thursday 27 August.

Two very special people were acknowledged as recipients of 2026 Tennis Auckland Honours Awards.

but our crew were still busy at our Working Bee Day!

It may have been pouring outside, but nothing could dampen the spirits of this hardworking bunch.

REMINDER - Tomorrow, Saturday 29th August is the day of the Glen Eden Tennis Club Annual Club Working Bee.
Come on down from 9am. Whether it’s for an hour or a number of hours, it’s all very much appreciated.

This afternoon, we already had some of our committee members, busy ticking off jobs ahead of tomorrow’s working bee. Huge thank you to Pippa for the gleaming windows and bathrooms, and Paul and Sarah for cleaning and sprucing up the lounge areas.

If you can’t make tomorrow, but are still keen to help, please get in touch, we can always do with some help around the clubhouse and grounds.

At Glen Eden Tennis Club, we LOVE Tennis! 💙
Our club is your Club. And we’re calling on volunteers to give us a hand in a couple of big activities coming up:

🐝 Our Annual Club Working Bee.
Saturday 29th August - From 9am
Many hands make light work. We’re normally all finished up by lunchtime, but with more helpers, it’ll take us even less time. Come clean some windows, sweep the paths, water blast some walls, whatever your forte, we’d greatly appreciate your time. Even an hour would be a huge help!!

💙🎾 Love Tennis 2026
Sunday 13th September - 10am to 2pm.
Love Tennis Day runs on volunteers. Be part of our welcome team, on court support or ball crew. Come play some tennis, give out prizes, scramble some lollies. Let’s make 2026 our biggest and best Love Tennis event yet! We would love if you could lend a hand for an hour or the whole day.

All Love Tennis volunteers will be entered into the National Volunteer Prize Draw - enjoy an experience in the Tennis New Zealand hospitality suite at the ASB Classic for the winner and one guest, as well as Wilson tennis gear.
