There were 14 bowlers from Mairangi enjoying an evening get together on the Sunshine Coast with a photo as evidence. Happy bowling and we expect to see you back eventually at your home club. Thank you Sandra

Haggle Report Sat 22 August
A lovely day and a great turnout with 32 players enjoying the sunshine. The day saw the welcome return of Jane Mackay after her injury layoff and Alan Telford after a year off. It was also great to see new member Carol Vosheer playing her first haggle. With 16 teams there was some strong competition and the top three were all 3 winners separated only by an end. The minor places were both 2 1/2 winners separated on points.

We had a lovely sunny afternoon and thanks to the birthday girl Annie, a nice afternoon tea. There was only one 3 winner and bunch of 2 winners battling it out for the minor places.
In the Winter League Muy Chhour stays in front but only just with Danny Murphy nipping at her heals just 2 points behind.

Stanaway Cup at Manly This Sunday.
This coming Sunday the 1-8 Stanaway Trophy will be played at Manly.
Four games starting at 9.00am.
Mairangi Bay has only one team entered.

Good bowling to all our team and any support will be most welcomed, it is not that far up to Manly.
