OUR COACHING METHOD
Our team of coaches, staff and players are individuals who are united by shared values, aspirations, and support for one another. We are passionate about squash and what we do, and believe in our players' abilities to succeed. We help them to instil this passion and belief in themselves. Our passion, ambition, and belief which we share with our players helps to inspire them to achieve excellence, success, and results. There is no single style or instruction manual for coaching which can be repeated for every player. Every player is an individual with their own style, strengths, weaknesses, and ways of communicating and learning. We work closely with our players to understand them as individuals and how they work. We can then adapt and provide them coaching in a way which best fits them and an individualised method towards achieving their goals and success. We listen, motivate, and push our players to be ambitious and enjoy every time they step on the court. We have proven methods for technical, physical, tactical and mental learnings and skills which are delivered through our programme and our method of evolving total body movement and the mind. Each coaching or training session is adapted for the individuals or group based on their personal styles, attributes, strengths, and weaknesses. Our individualised journey and plans for each player, and our strong values, methods, and programme structures allow our players to develop at an accelerated rate and achieve high levels of success. Our coaches work with our players to form individual processes and for their squash journey’s and set priorities and plans. This ensures that measurable improvements are always being made, and results and goals are achieved. Our coaches share the ambitions with the players and have a shared sense of responsibility for achieving success. We share belief for our player’s ambitions, and accountability for results with our players, which creates inspiration and motivation, and helps to drive success beyond what is usually possible. OUR PROGRAMME METHOD
Our programme is delivered in individual, group, and competition formats and provides players a range of opportunities to develop their games. These three key formats of our programme provide different areas of learning and development for each player. Each player has a main coach who is their key contact, and our programme director overseas and advises and provides guidance to the programme and coaches for their players. Junior players select their level: Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced. At each level they attend multiple squad trainings each week, our Junior Tournament Series or other competitions, their own MyDDS account, access to special events, and priority access to Individual Coaching and Holiday Camps.
