Our first men’s Victoria Masters Tournament!
What a weekend it was for these boys!

President and coach George Gathered Majority of the VIC men’s 35s team as they took on the Victorian Masters to accomplish one thing and one thing only!
To walk away as a strong Bonded Team In preparation for the Over 35s Men’s Nationals In July.

Using Our club as a banner to allow this group of men to achieve important pieces of the puzzle was the reason Blue Sox was represented. Although some took it the wrong way and didn’t like what was happening , George took it on himself to Embrace everything that Came their way. The good, and majority of “ the bad “!

A weekend that “ United “ Players from All areas of Victoria. And Yes! They got Gold in the A grade Men’s, But Gold was not the focus. It wasn’t even the First Priority. 1 percenters , a Strong Bonded Team, as the days drew closer to the end The boys were able to get into that Grand Final game and Show the growth that was Formed over a weekend of Skills & Banter!

To those who criticised George and His team, Thank you! You helped inspire these boys to band stronger together that eventually allowed them to take a bonus gold medal away but ultimately, Grew these boys together as brothers. We hope they take these learnings with them to Nationals and represent you at the tournament in July.

To all players - for sticking out the weekend, Bringing your families and allowing us all to embrace what a great weekend it was. Especially to Jimmy, Sean, Heath for filling in from C grade when nobody else would lend a hand.

Due to the unfortunate Circumstances we were only left with 8 players heading into the tournament and played with 8 players in two of those games. You boys showed heart! Managed to take a win when it mattered most also! I guess we “ dodged “ a bullet!

To all the Softball Victoria Umpires that looked after us. Thank you. Without you guys we wouldn’t able to manage. I hope you guys enjoyed our games as much as we enjoyed yours.
