The techniques and approaches that Juliet uses are designed to sensitize actors to their creative impulses. It's called 'Play' when we are children.
Juliet Furness is an Auckland based Acting and Voice coach who draws on different techniques she came across during her many years in NY, after originally relocating to LA to be an assistant coach at a Film Acting school. Remember how effortless and pleasure filled that was? It's also thinking of actors like dancers- with a set of acting muscles -so actors need to work out and be in good shape. W

Great hosting casting director Eryn Wilson this week in Level 3 class. Having the opportunity to work out and developing performance and see actors take direction is a big benefit to students compared to the 15 mins you might get in an audition. Huge thanks to him for taking the time to attend. More industry guests coming next term.
