TURN YINWARD + SOUND JOURNEY 🌿
Welcoming Spring with Fiona Liu & Mary Notton
Spring arrives as an invitation to begin again.
After the inward stillness of winter, the natural world starts to soften, stretch and reach outward. There is movement, possibility and new growth.
In Chinese medicine, spring is associated with the Wood element, and the Liver and Gallbladder meridians — a time to clear stagnation, create space and reconnect with a sense of vitality and direction.
Join Fiona Liu and Mary Notton for a special evening of Turn YINward + Sound Journey, weaving nourishing Yin Yoga with the healing resonance of crystal bowls and sound.
Through a slow, spacious practice, you’ll be invited to:
Release tension through the hips, inner thighs and side body
Encourage a sense of flow and spaciousness
Explore flexibility in body, mind and perspective
Drop deeply into stillness, supported by the vibrations of sound
As you settle into your practice, Mary will create a gentle soundscape with crystal bowls and other instruments, allowing the sounds to move through the room and support you in softening, listening and letting go.
A space to turn inward before moving outward.
To release what has become stagnant.
To make room for what wants to grow.
To listen for the quiet beginnings of something new.
Come welcome spring from the inside out.

There are so many ways we can mindfully move our bodies, and each modality has its gifts. But Yin offers something quite different.
It asks us to slow down. To pause. To listen.
In a world that is constantly speeding up, Yin reminds us of an ancient rhythm our bodies already recognise, one of rest, regulation, presence and renewal.
And something happens when we feel safe enough to slow down. We become more available to sensation, creativity, connection and feeling. Creativity doesn’t always come from pressure and productivity. Sometimes it needs space.
There is also something profoundly moving about witnessing an entire room rest together. A class breathing, softening and regulating in community. It feels ancient.
This is why I love teaching Yin.
And why I love sharing the practice with teachers.
My October 30-hour Yin Training — Whispers of the Body: The Art of Yin is an invitation to explore Yin beyond simply learning a collection of poses.
We’ll explore:
→ the nervous system
→ the Koshas
→ functional anatomy & skeletal variation
→ how to adapt poses for different bodies
→ the art of holding space and guiding embodied experience
Deepen your understanding of Yin, develop confidence in teaching it, and most importantly, experience the practice for yourself.
The deepest teaching doesn’t come from memorising information.
It comes from practice.
From listening.
From feeling.

WHISPERS OF THE BODY — THE ART OF YIN 🌙
Step into the quiet, poetic world of Yin with Whispers of the Body: The Art of Yin a 30-hour immersion into the art, science and felt experience of Yin Yoga.
Over three days, we’ll slow down, listen deeply and explore what happens when we stop trying to make the body fit a shape, and instead learn to understand and honour the body we actually have.
Together we’ll explore:
— Functional anatomy, bone variation & fascia
— The energetics of Yin & the subtle body
— The Koshas and the layers of our experience
— Intelligent sequencing, creative prop use & pose variations
— Nervous-system-informed and trauma-aware teaching
— Meditation, journaling, self-inquiry & embodied awareness
— The art of creating Yin spaces that feel safe, spacious and deeply supportive
This training is for yoga teachers wanting to deepen their teaching and dedicated students who feel called to understand Yin on a deeper level.
But more than anything, it’s an invitation to turn inward.
To become curious about your own body.
To listen rather than force.
To soften the places where you’ve been holding.
To discover the intelligence that lives beneath the surface.

Join Lisa and Jess for a deeply nourishing two-hour journey designed to restore balance, release what no longer serves you, and raise your frequency, awakening your body’s innate healing wisdom.
This unique experience weaves together the slow, meditative practice of restorative yoga with hands-on energy healing from Jess and Lisa. As you settle into restful, supported postures, each participant will receive individual energy work, allowing the body and mind to soften into spaciousness.
Restorative yoga invites stillness, creating space for the body to unwind, the nervous system to calm, and layers of held tension to gently dissolve. Combined with energy work and the healing frequency of light language, this practice supports your natural capacity for physical, emotional, and energetic harmony.
Whether you’re living with physical discomfort, experiencing overwhelm, feeling depleted, or simply longing to reconnect with yourself, this class offers a gentle, heart-centred space to rest, receive, and be nurtured.
Come exactly as you are, and allow yourself to be held in a high-vibrational field of love and healing as you realign with your true self, reawaken your inner light, and return to a deeper sense of wellbeing and inner peace.

Last week Lisa and I held six magical days within a sacred container, shared with sixteen curious and unspeakably beautiful souls.
Together, we journeyed through the teachings, meditations and contemplative practices of Non-Dual Ta**ra. Day after day, we witnessed something extraordinary unfold. There were tears and laughter, moments of profound recognition, and the quiet beauty of human hearts meeting one another with openness and care. Acts of kindness seemed to arise everywhere, small gestures, gentle words, shared embraces, each one becoming part of the practice itself.
Together, we watched layers gently soften and fall away. We witnessed stories loosening their grip, masks no longer needed, and something far more essential revealing itself. Not something new to become, but something ancient to remember. Beneath it all lived the heart, whole, courageous, open, and already enough.
Some experiences simply refuse to be captured by language. They ask to be lived rather than described.
There is an alchemy that occurs when we step away from the momentum of ordinary life and enter a space devoted to presence, contemplation, and truth. When we slow down enough to truly listen, something within us begins to remember. We stop striving to become someone else and begin recognising what has always been here.
Holding this immersion together has been one of the great privileges of our lives. Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for every person who entered this journey with such sincerity, devotion and courage. Thank you for trusting us, for trusting one another, and for saying yes to the mystery.
What unfolded over these six days felt nothing short of sacred. It is something we will carry with us for a very long time.
With love Kirsty and Lisa ❤️.
