Not the result we wanted yesterday, but congratulations to Waiheke United on progressing to the next round of the Chatham Cup.

A little piece of history connects our clubs. Back in the late 1980s, when Albany United was known as Albany-Wairau, there was a period where the club was known as Albany-Waiheke. It's great to see the red colours still flying in the competition, and we wish Waiheke United all the best for the rest of their cup run.

For us, the focus now shifts fully to the league. We know there is plenty of football still to be played, and we remain determined to keep improving, competing, and pushing forward together.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the team yesterday. Your backing means everything to the players, coaches, and club.
