One of the greatest gifts Yoga has given me isn't simply the ability to practice...

It's knowing what to practice, when and deriving the maximum benefits from the intelligence of working with different yogic systems.

Life isn't always the same from one day to the next. Our energy changes. Our responsibilities shift. Sometimes we need strength and vitality. Other times we need grounding, clarity, deep rest, or simply a few quiet moments to reconnect with ourselves.

One of the intentions behind the Yogic Lifestyle Immersion is to help you build the confidence and understanding to create a personal practice that meets you where you are.

Rather than feeling restricted by the idea that Yoga only happens during an hour-long class or on a mat, you'll discover a wider toolkit of accessible practice capsules that can be woven naturally throughout your day.

A stand-alone pranayama practice to steady the nervous system.

A mantra sadhana to set your template for the day

A meditation practice to disconnect from the material world and strengthen inner connection.

A simple Hatha sequence to energise or unwind.

This is where Yoga begins to move beyond something you do and becomes something you live.

Over five immersive days we'll explore how to build a balanced and adaptable personal practice, rooted in the timeless wisdom of the classical traditions and designed to support the realities of modern life.

Because when you understand the practices and the intention behind them, you are empowered to draw upon Yoga as a lifelong companion, one that continues to meet you through every season of life.

We are happy to announce that the official Bihar School of Yoga Youtube Channel has been launched.

The channel provides authentic teachings and techniques of the Bihar Yoga tradition, including original recordings of Yoga Nidra by Swami Satyananda Saraswati and Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati, as well as satsangs by Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati.

Last night was a beautiful reminder of the power of collective practice.

The mind gradually releases its grip, the heart becomes more receptive, and what first felt like effort gives way to flow. Through the collective energy of the group and the steady repetition of mantra, we begin to move beyond our habitual patterns into a space of greater ease, presence, and connection.

If you haven't yet joined us in our beautiful new home at The Life Centre we'd love to welcome you. The purpose-built space, infused with sacred geometry, creates a truly special environment for mantra and meditation, amplifying the experience in subtle yet tangible ways.

And as always, the evening doesn't need to end with the final chant. Stay afterwards for a nourishing chai in the café, where conversations continue, friendships deepen, and there's time to simply be together.

✨ Our next Healing Mantra & Blissful Kirtan evening is Friday 29 August. (I'll be in Bali during July, so we'll return in August refreshed and ready to chant together.)

On International Yoga Day we came together in the spirit of community, kindness and service & shared practice, mantra, conversation, chai and connection 💕

Together we celebrated yoga beyond the poses and raised $555 for Brave Paws Animal Rescue

A reminder that yoga is not only what happens on the mat, but how we connect, contribute and care for one another.
