I love how Matariki is evolving as a national indigenous celebration to mark the new year, and how we are all in the process of creating rituals and understanding what it means for us all.
Finally, we get to sync up our calendar with the seasons that match our Pacific location, and take the lead from Māori.
It is one of the many reasons I am proud to be a New Zealander and a Tangata Tiriti 😍

After 7.5 years in the business I consistently forget to ask if clients want to rebook, so this sign is more for me than for them 🫠
At first it was about not feeling confident enough to ask.
Then it was about not wanting to pressure anyone.
Lately it’s been baby brain, and actually feeling blissed out myself following a massage. Or ADHD? Who knows?
Not going to forget now!
Rediscovering my PASSION has helped me to heal from teaching burnout way more than just seeking balance or wellness.
Of course seeking balance and wellness is a huge part of burnout recovery, but without passion, the whole cycle can easy repeat itself.
Passion keeps things fresh, exciting, and makes you want to get up in the morning.
