CLUB WARS- 27th June featuring ABA HALL Of Fame Induction
The ABA is Honouring Ali Afakasi QSM with induction to the ABA Hall of Fame, a true pioneer of Pacifica boxing in NZ.
Ali arrived in NZ in 1968 and made history 2 years later as the first Samoan to represent the silver fern at the Commonwealth Games. Ali went on to a 37 fight professional career, rising to #1 in the Commonwealth and #10 in the world, back when there was only 8 world championships. Ali is one of the sports greats.
All welcome to come along to this event. $40 tickets at door. 5pm start
