Great to see two all female crewed boats from Gulf Harbour Yacht Club take part the Women’s Day Out at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron (RNZYS) 🥳 And special shout out to Amanda ID… first time bow girl on Korora 🤩

Congratulations to Korora and Sniper, both sailing in the spinnaker division 🤩 We also had Gulf Harbour girls crewing on Akatea and Princess…. 👏😄

PROTECTING OUR MARINE ENVIRONMENT - Thursday 3 September

Join Dimitri Colella, Senior Marine Biosecurity Advisor at Auckland Council, who will provide an overview of our marine biosecurity system, along with the latest updates on pest species and what all boaties can do to help protect the Hauraki Gulf and beyond. This is for anyone who has a boat, kayak, paddle board or just loves being on, in or under the water.

Everyone is welcome. The club opens from 5.30 pm with meals available from 6.00 pm until the presentation starts at 7.00pm.

A delightful Sunday with over 60 people enjoying a tasty roast lunch and some absolutely delicious homemade desserts.
It was great to have so many of the club's founder members, family and friends as well as some new faces of all ages join us.

STARSHIP FUNDRAISER coming to GHYC - Saturday 19 September

🎶 Tickets are now on sale for the inaugural Hibiscus JetSki Hire Spring Music Festival – Supporting Starship!

Come and join us on Saturday 19 September 2026 from 4:00 pm until late at the Gulf Harbour Yacht Club for a fantastic afternoon and evening of live music, young local talent, food, a charity auction and community fun, all while helping raise funds for Starship Child Health.

The festival is independently organised by Hibiscus JetSki Hire & Tours as a community fundraiser, with proceeds benefiting Starship Child Health.

🎶 Children & student performances
🎁 Charity auction with generously donated prizes and experiences
🎻 A special Auckland Philharmonia Aspiring Musicians string quartet performance
🍽 Dinner from The Schnitzel Wagen

🎸 Live band entertainment from 7:30 pm until late

Hibiscus JetSki Hire & Tours is also donating Jet Ski experience vouchers worth $1,000s to the charity auction, with plenty more fantastic prizes and supporting businesses still to be announced.
