NZDA 2026 TOP GROUPS - 2nd Runner Up!!!
So proud of this wacky and weird group of gremlins! It was so fun to reimagine and stage this piece in a new version of itself with 44 dancers (rather than the usual 81!)
Seeing new dancers step into other roles was beyond rewarding and we adore how you all just run with whatever ideas we throw at you. BEST HUMANS.

The energy, flow and success of your class starts with you as the CAP-tain. Every time you walk into the studio, you make a choice about the version of yourself you’re bringing into the room.
It’s important to remember that one hat doesn’t fit every class, every dancer or every moment, instead you need to adapt, connect and meet their student’s where they’re at. Create connection, challenge, laughter, discipline and inspiration by stepping into the role that serves the moment, not just the one that feels most comfortable.
The magic lies in recognising what your dancers need most, then having the confidence to wear that hat, even if it isn’t the one that comes most naturally to you.
