Another IV656 Explorer has completed fabrication and is now heading off to paint.

Named Te Aramoana, “the pathway to the sea,” this is a particularly special project, funded through a grant to support Māori rangatahi in strengthening their connection with the ocean.

Our fabrication team has taken a great deal of care and pride in bringing this build to life—and it shows in the workmanship.

We’re proud to be part of a project with such a meaningful purpose and look forward to seeing Te Aramoana completed and on the water at the end of October.

The IV616 Active is built for those who love getting out there. With its soft-riding hull, generous proportions, and true 360° fishability, it's the perfect partner for fishing missions, family adventures, and everything in between.

While we won't have this particular model on display at the show, it's a great example of the capability and versatility you'll find throughout the Innovision range.

🎣 Heading along to the Boat, Fish & Dive Expo at Mystery Creek this weekend? Come and chat with our team and check out the 616 Venture and the impressive 707 Explorer featuring our new Silent Chine Hull technology.

We'd love to show you what sets an Innovision apart.

A brand-new IV707 Explorer is coming to the Boat, Fish & Dive Expo!

This is your only opportunity to see this new build in New Zealand before it heads to Melbourne.

The image shown features our first IV707 Explorer with the Double “silent” Chine hull. At the Expo, we’ll unveil an entirely new IV707, fresh from fit-out and built specifically for its Melbourne owner.

This latest custom build features:

⚓ Our new Game Chaser transom
⚓ The latest Silent Chine hull design
⚓ Pilot-house windows
⚓ A dedicated fishing setup tailored to the owner’s requirements

It’s a true example of custom boatbuilding: working closely with each owner to create a layout, specification and fishing platform designed around how they intend to use their boat.

Following the Expo, this IV707 Explorer will head to Melbourne in September. Come aboard, inspect the Game Chaser transom and see the latest IV707 refinements up close before it leaves New Zealand.

Teamwork, efficiency and quality craftsmanship in action.

Our latest IV757 Explorer, featuring the new Expedition cockpit layout, is making excellent progress through Stage One fabrication. With the side sheets fitted and the bow-thruster underway, the hull is on track to be rolled over Monday ready for Stage Two.

The collaboration between our fabricators has helped bring this stage under allocated hours, without compromising the quality and attention to detail we expect from every Innovision.

The design render included shows where this build is heading! The new Expedition layout features our Game Chaser transom, a custom-positioned and designed bait station, and seating configured around the owner’s intended use of the boat.

A strong start to an exciting new build—and a credit to the team bringing it together.

Tomorrow, 'Battle Axe' is handed over

Our second IV616 Venture is ready, and we couldn't be prouder.

When the IV616 Venture took out the Product Category at the Best Design Awards 2025, it recognised something we've always believed – great boats come from solving real problems on the water. The IV616 Venture was designed to blur the lines between serious sportfishing, family boating and overnight adventure. Full walk-around fishability, an elevated casting deck, a surprisingly spacious 1.9m V-berth, clever storage, and our unique folding T-top doors all come together in a package that's equally at home chasing kingfish as it is exploring the coast.

Battle Axe takes that award-winning platform another step forward. Built to owner Darryl's requirements and destined for the waters of Ōhope, this is a serious fishing machine featuring:
• Garmin electronics package with Kraken trolling motor
• Suzuki 250hp with Dometic electric steering
• Zipwake Pro trim tabs
• Evolution 360° rod holders and Railblaza system
• Outrigger package
• Deluxe bait station and our transom cage
• Custom bow rails, ladder and a bespoke Boat Catch system designed specifically for the Venture's plumb bow
• Stunning decking design from the team at Boat-Dek

Battle Axe also benefits from another round of thoughtful design improvements—subtle changes that make the boat even more practical, comfortable and capable on the water. Such as improved hard top roof design, bigger side doors, gaf storage set into the steps and more.

From all of us at Innovision Boats — thank you for trusting us with this build, and we can't wait to see her in action.

School holidays. Mid-winter.

If the weather gives you a window, take it.

Grab the kids.

Grab the dog.

Grab a mate.

Get out on the water, head for the hills, or simply go somewhere that doesn't have a Wi-Fi password.

There are only so many school holidays, only so many weekends, and only so many opportunities to make an ordinary day unforgettable.

Here's to sunshine, fresh air and saying "why not?"

🎣 That's what it's all about.

When our customers are out doing what they bought their boat to do that's when we know we have done our job.

Frans has been putting his IV585 Active through its paces out of Waihau Bay and summed it up perfectly:

"The 585 Active is a breeze to tow long distance and handles the conditions like a boss."

Then backed it up with this impressive tuna. 💪🐟

Huge congratulations Frans, and thanks for sharing another epic day on the water. We love seeing Innovision owners making memories and putting their boats to work.

Got a recent catch or adventure in your Innovision? Drop your photos in the comments or post them in the Innovision Boat Owners group—we'd love to feature more of our owners' stories.

Something special is taking shape...

Every Innovision begins with a conversation. This one has been shaped by many.
Over the past couple months, we've worked closely with the owner and our marine designer, refining every detail to create a boat built around exactly how it will be used.

The result?
✔️ A completely new bait station design
✔️ An integrated folding table that maximises cockpit space
✔️ A new Game Chaser transom layout designed for serious fishing
✔️ A custom roof height tailored to a very tall owner
✔️ Countless small refinements that only come from working through every detail together

No off-the-shelf solution. No compromises.
Just a boat designed around its owner, their lifestyle, and the adventures ahead.
