🌅 Winter doesn't mean putting the boat away!

This was a mid winter mission, proving that some of the best days on the water come with crisp mornings, calm conditions and not another boat in sight.

With the right gear, a good crew and a boat built for the conditions, there's no reason to miss out on adventures like these. From chasing fish at first light to enjoying a hot breakfast on board, winter boating has a way of rewarding those willing to get out there.

And looking at the weekends forecast, Auckland is shaping up for a good one. ☀️

Who's getting amongst it this weekend?

Another custom Innovision that will head across the Tasman

Project IV707EXJP is currently away at paint, and the team can't wait to see her return in a striking black, silver and blue colour scheme.

This project is another great example of the custom approach that sets Innovision apart. Every boat is built around how the owner wants to use it, and this one includes a number of unique features and modifications:

✔️ Forward-raked windows
✔️ Game Chaser transom with starboard side boarding door
✔️ Custom-designed bow rail
✔️ Custom stepped dash configuration designed specifically for the owner's electronics package
✔️ Custom hull fairing block and trailer modifications to suit the transducer setup
✔️ Innovision's Silent Chine hull design for a quieter, drier ride

Even in bare alloy form, you can already see the amount of detail and craftsmanship that has gone into this build by the design and fabrication team. From the transom layout through to the dash design and trailer integration, every element has been tailored to the owner's requirements.

Standby for more as this epic boat progresses through marine fit out!

IV7000 Amphibious | No Compromise

Handed over earlier this year, this IV7000 Amphibious Hard Top is a great example of what can be achieved when amphibious capability is integrated into the design from day one.

One of the biggest misconceptions about amphibious boats is that you have to compromise cockpit space and fishability. On this build, that couldn't be further from the truth.

✔ Spacious, uncluttered cockpit
✔ Full-width transom fishing access
✔ Additional dry storage built into the transom design
✔ Heavy-duty boarding ladder system that works seamlessly with the Anura amphibious setup
✔ Launch, retrieve and beach without relying on a boat ramp

For owners with beachfront properties, remote launching locations, or those who simply want more freedom and flexibility, amphibious capability opens up a whole new way of boating.

Built for serious fishing. Built for serious adventure. Built by Innovision.

IV616 Venture Walkthrough | Custom Features & Smart Enhancements

27/05/2026

Most amphibious boats compromise fishability. Ours don’t.

At INNOVISION, we’ve engineered our amphibious range to retain the epic transom set-up, full cage functionality, generous cockpit space, and deluxe bait station layout we’re known for — so you don’t have to sacrifice serious fishability for amphibious capability.

Better fishing. Better exploring. Better by Design.

Customer Feedback - Brad O's IV616 Explorer did not disappoint!

This feedback means a lot to the team — especially coming from someone who makes their living on the water.

"Dear Innovision Boats Team,
I wanted to take a moment to share my experience as a long-term owner of an IV616, which I’ve proudly run since 2023.

By way of background, I’m a commercial skipper of a 16m alloy cray boat operating in the lower South Island. When it came time to choose a vessel for family use and hunting expeditions, I approached the decision with a professional mindset. After a test ride, Innovision stood out clearly—nothing else felt as capable or as confidence-inspiring.

That decision has proven itself time and again, but most recently on a trip out of Milford Sound. Once we reached the Tasman Sea, we were met with around 3 metres of rolling sea and 25 knots of wind on top. I’ve experienced plenty of rough conditions over the years, but this was the first real test of the boat in properly challenging seas.

Loaded with four grown men and a full week’s worth of hunting gear, the IV616 handled it exceptionally. It ran straight and true, never doing anything unpredictable, and gave me complete confidence to continue safely to our destination. Notably, we were the only recreational vessel out that day—anything lesser would likely have turned back.

That level of performance speaks volumes about the design and build quality. From a professional skipper’s perspective, it’s a boat that earns trust quickly and keeps it.

I’m extremely pleased with my Innovision and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a serious, capable vessel."

This is exactly why we are so passionate about getting people on the water at our Demo Days.
