Bench Building Success!
In the workshop with Pascal! Everyone got stuck in, learned new power tool skills, and built their very own bench to take home.
Nothing beats the feeling of making something yourself!
Thanks to Auckland Council for supporting workshops like this and helping our community build new skills while giving reclaimed timber a second life.

Matariki Magic Filled the Te Atatū Peninsula Library!
It was a super busy session, with lots of creative hands making beautiful Matariki inspired dream catchers. Everyone had fun exploring different colours, and materials to create their own unique piece to take home.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the workshop such a great success, and thank you to Foundation North for supporting opportunities like this for our community.

3D Native Bird workshop with Lene as part of the I Love Avondale Holiday Programme!
All 25 young makers created their own beautiful native bird scenes using a mix of rescued materials, finishing their artwork with a flying bird that really brought each piece to life. Every creation was unique, and it was wonderful to see so much creativity and imagination on display.
A big thank you to the Whau Local Board for funding this workshop .

🌟 Mānawatia a Matariki! Happy Māori New Year!
Kia ora koutou!
Matariki is a time to reflect on the year that's been, celebrate the present, and look ahead with hope. It's also a time to come together with whānau, friends, and our community.
From all of us at The ReCreators, thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way. Whether you've joined a workshop, volunteered, donated, or simply cheered us on, we're so grateful to have you as part of our community.
Wishing you a Matariki filled with connection, kindness, and new beginnings.

A big thank you to Buffie for a fantastic term, and to Auckland Council for supporting these workshops.
