AUCKLAND CITY ORTHODONTICS PLAYER AWARD 🏆

The second award goes to our U15 Mayo’s Tilly Mayson! 💚🤍

Tilly has been in fantastic goalscoring form over the past month, consistently finding the back of the net, including some consolation goals when the team hasn’t had much of the ball. She’s strong over the ball, travels quickly with it and, given even a little time and space on her left foot, is always a threat in front of goal!

Away from the goals, Tilly is a fantastic teammate and a pleasure to have at training. She leads by example both on the field and during training, often helping with skills and drills and supporting those around her.

Great work, Tilly! 👏

A brilliant milestone and one that reflects her quality, commitment, and longevity at the club. Ange has consistently been one of the standout goalkeepers in the Women’s game, combining outstanding shot-stopping with composure, presence and a real competitive edge.

She’s produced some truly out-of-this-world saves over the years for the club, with plenty that have won us big games. There’s a reason she’s so highly regarded!

Across her time at Western Springs, she has made a fantastic contribution both on and off the pitch, becoming an important part of the club. Her leadership, experience and willingness to support those around her have made her a valued teammate and a great example for our younger players coming through the women’s programme.

A fantastic achievement and one that is thoroughly deserved. Congratulations on 100 games, Ange, here’s to many more! 💚🤍

A huge congratulations to Luke Carter, who has been selected as part of the U17 Men’s squad heading to the International Youth Soccer Tournament 2026 in Niigata, Japan this month!

It's a brilliant opportunity to represent New Zealand on the international stage again, and a fantastic achievement for Luke. We’re incredibly proud to see another Springs player earning an international opportunity and wish Luke and the team all the very best for the tournament!

A 3-1 defeat to Fencibles brings our 2026 league campaign to a close at Riverhills Park.

It’s not the result we were hoping for in our final game, but there’s plenty to be proud of from the season and the work this group has put in throughout the year.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the team this season from the sidelines, at home and away, and behind the scenes. Also a massive thank you to the team, staff and especially Scotty as this was his final Northern League game with us! 💚🤍

However the football doesn't stop there for us so stay on the lookout for news regarding the dates of playoff games and upcoming tournaments.

All Northern Region Football (NRF) Youth and Senior games scheduled to kick off from 1pm onwards today have been CANCELLDED due to field closures.

The only exceptions are the Men’s Northern League game (3pm kick off) and U23s game (12:30pm kick off) away to Fencibles at Riverhills, and the Women’s NRFL game v Fencibles at Seddon at 5:30pm kick off.

For Sunday fixtures please check your fixture on the NRF website in the morning

It’s the final game day of the 2026 season, with both our Premier sides taking on Fencibles United in what promises to be an exciting day of football!

The Premier Men head to Riverhills Park for a 3:00pm kick-off, before the Premier Women finish their campaign at home at Seddon Fields at 5:30pm.

Two teams, two final games, and one last chance to finish the season on a high. Get out and support the Springs sides as we close out the 2026 season together! 💚🤍
