2026 AGM

To the Members of Auckland University Judo Club

On Wednesday 29 July at 7.30pm we will have the 2026 Annual General Meeting (training will finish at 7.25pm to facilitate this).

Please do attend - it is important that members understand how the club has operated over the last 12 months, and has input into who is running the club over the coming 12 months.

Members must give notice of any proposed motions and other items of business to the Club at least 5 days before the date of the AGM (please get these to James at [email protected]).

In addition, there will be a heap of pizza to be shared : )

Rob Levy was lucky enough to join Tauranga Judo Club for weekend training… hosted by Kevin Kavanagh; Olympians Shaun O’Leary and Steve Corkin were also on the mat - along with Allard Mitchell (from Japan Masters Tours) and Murray Lin (student member of Uni Judo in the 1990’s) + Chanel Kavanagh CWG 2014.

Joining the coaching at Auckland Uni on Wednesdays (6.15-8.15pm), long time Judo New Zealand team member; National Champion and also former regular at our sister club in Osaka, Daishin Judo, Ken Yonei.
Ken will be basing Wednesday nights on skill development given through the Japanese High School system… come and join us 😀😀😀

So good to see Aly and Conrad medaling in JUNIOR MANDURAH OCEANIA OPEN 2026… also great to see them winning fights in the SENIORS… with Aly also winning Bronze in the SENIORS. Conrad looks so happy 🙃

Uni Judo's second ever street clothes day training to end our 12 week cycle. Back to normal Saturday Judo from next week.
