As I reflect on being a new mum, I believe motherhood is an expansive journey that alters your perception of life and your sense of self. Becoming a mum requires a new level of patience, kindness and devotion to not only your family, but to yourself. How privileged are we to have a movement practice so innovative and forward thinking. There’s a lot of noise out there about what pilates is and isn’t right now; instead of adding to the debate we take a moment to appreciate the system, the empowerment it brings to move your whole body and the vitality that extends into our everyday life. It reminds us to move slow with intention, breathe well and keep showing up 🌀
