Coring week:

The team completed coring week late friday night. 5 days dawn till dark, Tuesday slowed a few processes down with down pours.

Cores become harder to pick up and we waited 24 hours for them to dry out, gravel that was being delivered onto the driving range for the astro turf extenion had to be transported by tractor from the car park late on Tuesday night.

Staff from Winstones and Velocity helped collect cores on greens and approaches were vital in completing and cleaning up areas. Thank you to all the extra staff members for the week.

Greens-Tees-Approaches-Fairways all hollow tined. “A big core”

Path improvements at:
Velocity - hole 1
Tunnel - hole 6 tees
14 green - 15 tees

Driving range astro turf project.
Thanks to Urban turf and Clint Barclay, the preparation to the final product being finished on Friday afternoon will continue the presentation of the driving range.

Drainage projects:
Driveway has a new collector drain.
Left of hole 1 will help reduce water running down to the driving range.
Behind 3 green, this will help improve an area that is always very wet in winter.

Turf Nursery: has had an area cleared for new grasses to be seeded in the coming weeks.

Lastly, to the greenkeeping team 13 hour days and constant passion and professionalism had us core all the fairways & cleared in 5 days is something never achieved. Thankyou for efforts from all staff, next week a few more days to clean up areas before heavy rain forecasted middle of next week.

Cheers CC and the Greenie team.

A busy weekend of Pennants with 4 matches resulting in 4-4 draws. Bissett drew 4-4 with Pukekohe; Championship 1 drew 4-4 with Whitford Park; Championship 2 drew 4-4 with Pakuranga; Inter Club 2 a 4-4 draw with Pukekohe; and finally a 2.5-5.5 loss for Inter Club 3 against Chamberlain Park.

Fantastic result for the Betty Faesen team - a 3-1 win over RAGGC at Akarana. They are just 1pt behind Titirangi at the top of the table - a brilliant start for our young team! Congrats!!

The next round for all teams is February 16th.

Has anyone seen Louis, aka Spencer, who is presently absent from his patrol duties?

His customary spot at Hole 14 seems empty without him. We have conducted an exstencive search, but the 10-year-old's location remains unknown.

We just want to know what happened to our cheeky 🐓 😥
