Blake Brooks - 208A Stockcar

Excited to be putting our Auckland Alleycats Stockcar Team teams kit on for the first time this season representing our home track with the boys tonight at Huntly Speedway.

208a is back with a new whip for 25/26 season!! ✨

Last night was our first night back, for our Auckland Stockcar Champs, straight off the bat after finishing the car yesterday arvo.

Race 1 - off grid 6, finishing 6th
Getting the grips to the new car, and new track, Blake was up to the challenge, he did well and super happy with results.

Race 2 - off grid 16, finishing 3rd
Made some changes to the set up, and off we went, came to grips with the car pretty quickly and was happy to push the car harder, it’s a weapon!

Race 3 - off grid 8, got up to 3rd battling for 2nd, had right rear damage, so decided to hit the poll and play stockcars helping the boys finish 1 and 2 on podium, turns out we had a right rear puncture resulting in DQ.

All and all, what a fantastic night back in our happy place. Very happy with the new car, huge shout out to Clint at Cheetsters Engineering you’ve done an outstanding job!!

There are so many people we need to thank for helping us get the car on the track.
