We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Ann Lipscombe, wife of the late Ross Lipscombe, who together, were the longstanding leaders and pou of our club. Our love and prayers are with our aiga — Anthony, Kathryn, Maree, Paul and their children.
Today we honour Ann — she led our club with love and served our community with grace. Ann and Ross brought people together and introduced many families to the game we all love, and walked alongside our players as sporting opportunities came their way.
The Lipscombe whānau are irreplaceable within our club. Ann and Ross’ dedication, devotion, loyalty and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
E tangi ana te mānawa i tō wehenga, ehara noa iho koe i te Māmā, engari ko koe te Māmā i whakakotahi i a tātou katoa. Nā tō aroha, tō manaaki me tō atawhai, i tupu ai te whānau o Marihi i raro i tō korowai. Ka mau tonu tō tapuwae ki roto i a mātou, ā, e kore rawa tō aroha e mimiti.
Thank you Ann, for all that you have done for us. We will miss you dearly.
Moe mai rā e te rangatira,
Until we meet again. 💚💛
Eternal rest grant to her, o Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon her.
May she rest in peace.
