Rockin the Sixties MCC
What a day of incredible music!

One of the standout moments, echoed time and again in the feedback we received, was the remarkable presence of Jimi Kara. He has an effortless way of walking into a room, seemingly unaware of the powerful energy he brings. The moment he takes the stage and those magic fingers meet the guitar, everyone is captivated.

Musicians and audience members alike were transfixed, watching every note, every movement, every moment. That level of respect and attention is earned through years of dedication, passion, and a lifelong commitment to refining the extraordinary gift he was born with.

Jimi Kara is not only a master guitarist but also one of the most humble and genuine people you’ll meet. He is a true treasure of New Zealand music, and we salute him.

Thank you, Jimi, for supporting the Manukau Cruising Club and for so generously sharing your incredible talent with us. It was also a privilege to welcome Jimi’s mum, dad, and partner to the event. What a beautiful family and a truly special group of people.

We are incredibly grateful and honoured to have shared such a memorable day with you all.
