We're the friendly home of harbour racing, cruising, and sail training at Westhaven Marina in Auckland A new clubhouse was built in St. The St. Bailey.

The Ponsonby Cruising Club was founded in October 1900 as one of first purely cruising Clubs in the colonies of the then British Empire. William Bettany of the yacht MAHOE was the first Commodore and Alf Thompson, the Secretary. The flag chosen, a blue pennant with a white chevron, is still the Club flag. Mary’s Bay in 1905 but had to give way to the harbour bridge approach works in the late 1950’

⛵ Starlink Update from Rob Algie

Rob Algie continues to make good progress on his journey to Fiji. Here’s the latest update from onboard, including photos from the trip and a map showing his current location.

Wishing Rob fair winds and safe sailing for the rest of his voyage. We look forward to welcoming him back, where he’ll commence his duties as Vice Commodore upon his safe return to New Zealand. 🌊🇳🇿
