Glen Innes Pool and Leisure Centre

Yesterday marked the last day at the Y for Rory. You may have seen him around the place helping people achieve their fitness goals, making us laugh, or taking rather frequent toilet breaks (hence the signed toilet seat.) Rory has been attending the Y since he was in the crèche and started working as a Lifeguard in 2017, died on the job and was bought back thanks to Ariel’s “breath of life” , moved to reception, then left us for a few years whilst he travelled and worked as a trainer in the USA, came back home and has just finished 4 more years at the Y. We will miss you Rory, best of luck for your future endeavours.

Bookings for our swim school holiday programme are now open!

The holiday programme will run from the 28/9 - 2/10 and will include personalised training and coaching from our AUSWIM qualified teachers!

The Ignite Freshwater Swim Fest is coming to Lake Pupuke, Auckland on
13–14th February 2027. Distances from 250m to 10km, a team relay, 3 x NZ Championship events, food trucks, garden bar, live music, and festival vibes all weekend long.
