As August draws to a close, we're finishing the month by continuing to spotlight Team Up Safeguarding Champions across the Pacific.

Joyce Koiari is the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for Inclusive GymBad PNG and a Team Up Safeguarding Champion.

Joyce reminds us to be mindful of how children are photographed, filmed and represented, while ensuring children with disabilities and those from diverse backgrounds can participate safely and confidently in sport.

Through her work, Joyce champions respect, inclusion and opportunities for every child to take part in sport safely.

Our BWF Level 2 Coach Course in Auckland is underway! 📚

With both on-court and classroom sessions, our candidates will learn the physical, mental, and technical knowledge needed for high-level badminton coaching.

The course is led by Robbie Thackham, Badminton Oceania Coaching & Development Manager, and Martin Andrew, a BWF Coach Education Expert.

After her debut WS win at the BWF World Championships, Shaunna Li will return to the court today for the R32.

Scheduled for match 15 on Court 3, the Kiwi will face World No. 10 Pornpawee Chochuwong (THA).
