NZ based fashion designer Lela Jacobs' inspiration comes from the personal rather than the public domain, creating timeless garments, each with a story. The designs intend to be thought provoking, versatile and highly wearable through inquisitive, challenging, technical pattern making and experimental silhouettes. These are executed in luxurious and high-end fabrics valu

COLLAR

An exhibition of bespoke collars by makers’ hands from across Aotearoa.

Presented by THE KEEP during New Zealand Fashion Week Presented by Giltrap Group , COLLAR brings together an invited group of artists and makers, each responding to the collar as both object and adornment.

Personally conceived and made by hand, every piece reflects an individual practice while contributing to a shared portrait of contemporary making in Aotearoa.

Suspended together as a single installation, the exhibition reveals a rich conversation between material, process and form—celebrating the enduring value of craftsmanship and the quiet poetry of objects made by hand.

Join us for one evening only.

A complimentary drink will be offered on arrival.

Little luxuries. Winter companions.

The pieces you reach for without thinking.

A beanie pulled low.
A scarf wrapped high.
A hood against the wind.
Soft socks for slow mornings.
The smallest layers often become the most treasured.

Stay cosy, friends.

A study in softness.

Crafted in silk, the Pierrot Shirt balances volume with fluidity, creating a silhouette that feels both timeless and quietly unexpected.

Seen at Parade, where every look tells part of the story.

The U Arms.

For those moments when a sweater feels like too much and warmth feels necessary.

Possum, silk, and merino.

Soft.
Light.
Ridiculously comforting.

The U Duster.

Generous.
Weightless.
Unapologetically luxurious.

Crafted from possum, silk, and merino, it holds warmth close while remaining impossibly light.

A piece designed not for occasions, but for living in.

Black.
Lavender.
Natural.
Azure.

Black init.

The colour of certainty.
The colour of not having to think twice.

A long coat.
A soft dress.
A scarf that becomes a blanket.
Gloves, hats, layers, and all the small rituals that arrive with winter.

Possum, silk, and merino in their darkest mood.

Because some things never need reinventing.

Black init.
