Our final Stirrups Equestrian sponsored rider for the 2026/2027 season is Victoria Mitchell; read about her below!

"Hi, i’m Victoria Mitchell, a 21 year old show jumper from Auckland. Horses have been a huge part of my life and a passion of mine for 18 years.

I started in the show hunter ring from a young age and progressed through to winning and placing in multiple titles and championship CAT C classes and at HOY. I have since changed to show jumping and competed to Pony Grand Prix and Junior rider classes.

My main horse Grandeur NZPH is a 12 year old warmblood who I have owned for almost a year and currently compete in the 1.20m classes. I also have my long-term partner, Weiti Zumba who I have owned for 7 years and competed in the Junior rider classes.

I am extremely excited to be part of the Stirrups Equestrian team, who sell the highest quality and safest products with a wide variety and range. I particularly love my custom Samshield helmet that I have designed myself which also provides optimum safety".

About Sofia:
"I'm Sofia Williams a showjumper from the east coast of the Wairarapa. I’m also a student in my final year at St Matthews Collegiate.

I am so so excited to get back into the swing of the season with a new ride I was very lucky to steal from my mum! I have three main horses competing in juniors, 6yr olds, Youngs, Grand Prix's and maybe a few bigger classes. I can't wait to see what this season has in store, as well as the future with some nice young horses coming through with Mum. I am lucky enough to be in the ESNZ High Performance potential squad, and a part of previous trans tasman and other riding teams.

I am super excited to be a part of the Stirrups team for the 26/27 season
and have my horses and I blinged out in our favourite brands!"

We are excited to have Lauren Mitchell joining the Stirrups Equestrian team as a sponsored rider!

About Lauren:
"Hi, I’m Lauren, a Show Hunter Rider from Taupaki. I have been riding for 19 years and have been competitive in Show Hunter since I was 12. Over this time, I have competed mostly in Category C Show Hunter and in the Hack Ring on multiple mounts.

This season I will compete predominantly in the Open National Series, Amateur National Series and Open Equitation Series. I have won multiple National Series classes over the years, including the Junior High Points Series, Junior Equitation, and Cat C High Points Series.

I currently have 3 horses: Sonny Bill, a 19-year-old who retired after a very successful career; Craighaven Black Heart, a 17-year-old who is now a broodmare after many successful seasons; and Marokopa CJ, a 13-year-old who is now my main competition horse

I am excited to be apart of the Stirrups team this season!".

About Madison:
"I’m Madison Jackson, a show jumper based in Auckland. Horses have been a huge part of my life since I started riding at three years old, and over the past eight years I’ve competed successfully through Pony Grand Prix, Junior Rider and Young Rider level.

I’ve been fortunate to have some amazing horses and opportunities along the way, and I am really looking forward to this season with my team of four horses all of which are at different stages of their development. My focus is on producing them and I’m excited to see what we can achieve together.
