We have amazing views, ample parking, commercial size kitchen, sound system, projector, BBQ, Fully Licensed Bar, competitive prices!

If you are looking for somewhere to celebrate, our bowling club has amazing facilities.

The Club occupies a magnificent site at the base of Churchill Park and with views extending over the Tamaki estuary and beyond.

Our experienced bowlers will be on hand to provide coaching, help with scoring and give tips and tricks to show you the ropes. Bowls, jacks, scoreboards and other equipment are included in the venue hire.

Our Club facilities are available for bowling events as well as corporate and private social bowls events. We can cater for small groups or large gatherings of up to 130 people.

1. How long have you been involved with Glendowie Bowling Club?
Over a decade, maybe close to two or even longer....????

2. What inspired you to support our club?
One of our regulars at the time was the Club President, and that personal connection first brought us into the Glendowie Bowls community.

3. What do you enjoy most about being part of the Glendowie Bowls community?
We really value being part of such a strong local community. Supporting the club feels like a natural extension of what we do at Annabelle’s — looking after people in our neighbourhood.

4. Tell us a little about your business and what you do.

Annabelle’s is a family-run waterfront restaurant in St Heliers that has been serving the local community since 1992. We’re known for our fresh seafood, award-winning New Zealand lamb dishes, and relaxed European-style dining with beautiful views over the bay. We also host regular community and political events, and take pride in being a meeting place for locals.

The Eastern Junior Classic was held at Kohimarama BC yesterday. Four clubs with 2 teams of 4 each, playing triples/singles, pairs and fours across three 1.5hr games.
Our two Glendowie teams were very impressive with a second and a third placing - one loss for each of our teams.

Last Thursday was our last Thursday Triples Games. That's a wrap for our winter series. A stunning day without a breath of wind for the most part. The wind picked up towards the end of the day.

Our summer series, have a go day and neighbour bowls details will be coming out soon. Follow and like our page to stay up to date. Come and join in the fun.
