Its been a week since we held the Tennis Club Quiz Night and the dust has settled. As a committee we wanted to give one last HUGE shout out to the sponsors and local businesses that made the event such a success with donations of all shapes and sizes - THANK YOU!

Lastly a big shout out to Pringle Park Bowls Club who hosted us yet again at their awesome venue. We'll be back for next year :)

It’s a huge moment for Te Atatū Tennis Club as we farewell three incredible coaches who’ve shaped our community for years.

This week we say a heartfelt thank you to Hugo, Ollie, and Jared, who have all moved on to pastures new. Hugo’s 10 years at the club — and the award‑winning coaching programme he built — have shaped our tennis community in a big way. We wish him and Rose all the best in Oman, and send our support to Ollie as he heads overseas and Jared as he takes time away from the court.

We also give a HUGE warm welcome to Art Virata as our new Head Coach. Art brings decades of playing and coaching experience, international qualifications, and a coaching style that aligns beautifully with the SEED Tennis principles. The same great coaching continues, from little kids to adults. Make sure to say hi to Art when you’re around the courts. And the best of luck, we are sure you'll be a huge asset to the club :)
