Well done to our young students that got out in the weekend and represented Sorriso BJJ Club! Some great Jiu Jitsu on display and sportsmanship that made all of the coaches proud.

Special mention to Thomas who got the fastest submission of the event, a RNC in just 6 seconds!!!!

A big thank you to the team who came to support their teammates. It was great to see the team cheering each other on.

Thank you to NZ’s Premier Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Competition Circuit and the refs for another professional event. The opportunity for our students to compete in a tournament of this calibre builds the community up!

Congratulations Oliver Cairns on Brown Belt!

This weekend we held a special grading to celebrate the next step of Ollie’s Jiu Jitsu career.

We have seen Ollie travel the world, represent our country in Jiu Jitsu and run his own program for kids in schools.
His latest chapter has seen Ollie become an instrumental member of our coaching team. He has helped to develop our kids program in both professionalism and leadership by sharing his infectious passion for martial arts with the next generation.

A big thank you for the joy you bring to the mats Ollie. And a big thank you to the community for supporting Ollie and the rest of the coaching team to make every class fun.
