Ardmore will be open for practice this Sunday 30th August from 10 am until 4 pm. We will be power harrowing the circuit to create a soft, tacky surface with maximum traction on Sunday morning before the ride. The track was packed and bone dry when we finished prepping it today with rain forecast for Saturday clearing in the evening and fining up on Sunday which will create perfect conditions for power harrowing in the morning. We will check the forecasts early on Sunday morning, check the rain radar and post an update on Facebook before we head to the track to do the final prep for the ride.

We finished prepping the track tonight for the Wildman on tomorrow Sunday 23rd August, adding in the drop off through the trees into the Cavity section, Brads new tabletop, the Step Up and the big middle sweeper section which power harrowed up to perfection. Ryan ripped up the whole track yesterday then power harrowed everything today, We spent two days blading the start straight to a smooth powdery finish for maximum traction out of the gates and despite the weather forecasts during the week predicting rain for Sunday the latest forecasts are for a cloudy day with the rain holding off until later on Sunday night. The gates will be open at 9 am with briefing followed by practice at 10 am and racing from 11 am.

Round 6 of the Wildman is on at Ardmore this Sunday 23rd August from 10 am until 4 pm. The Metservice three day computor model is showing fine weather on Sunday so we are working on building our longest track layout for the year while the conditions are right for a summer style power harrow and prep. We will post a facebook update on the track layout on Saturday night before the raceday.
