That's some second half from Rangers and what a fight from Ellerslie!!

Rangers went into the second half a goal down, looking for a spark to set them back on track ... and that spark came in the form of RYUTA HAMAMATSU who struck the equaliser soon after the break.

Rangers had their tails up and they got a second through JOEL ELLIOTT (pictured) before CONNOR O'MALLEY continued his rich goal scoring form to take Rangers to 3-1.

But Ellerslie battled hard and got one back to set up a grandstand finish, but they couldn't break Rangers down again and the three points travelled back to Fred Taylor Park.

NICE WORK FELLAS!!!

Travelling away from home, to visit the team that sit in second place in the league, who are chasing top spot, is never easy!

But West Coast Rangers Men's U23's have come up trumps again against a strong Ellerslie side who possibly didn't expect the tenacity and team spirit of this Rangers team, which has given the Gannets the three points.

First half strikes from Hamish Duggal and Jared Soma did the damage and a solid defensive performance in the second half saw Rangers take the 'W'

It was a beautiful afternoon for football but on the pitch it was a battle of attrition from both sides!

Rangers came through on top though after a long range, first half strike, from Nicole Stratford proved to be the winner in this hard fought affair!

Rangers go into the break a goal to the good after a stunning long range strike from Nicole Stratford found the keeper off her line and it hit the back of the net!
