Something different this year Tiana is off to Christchurch rather than taranaki for U18 NZ Netball Champs in Christchurch
8 of the 11 girl squad were in Tiana's first U14 rep team!!! Crazy how they've grown.
Can't wait to support them. Thankfully this year it's indoors
๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š let's go Puke ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š

****** End of an era ******
Today Tiana said goodbye to her ministock.
That's a wrap for Ministocks for us. It's been a ride alright. Some very high highs and some pretty low lows.
A lot of miles travelled, great memories and friendships made, lot's of laughter and a few tears along the way.
We are very grateful for the ministock class and know both Codi and Tiana enjoyed it.

Now it's time for someone else to enjoy.

Good luck to the new owner we know she's going to love it.

After 6 incredible years in Ministocks, itโ€™s time to close this chapter and look back on what has been one of the biggest parts of my life.

Honestly, I never expected six years to go by so fast. It feels like only yesterday I was climbing into a Ministock for the first time, and now Iโ€™m looking back on a journey that has shaped such a big part of who I am. Those six years have been filled with road trips, race meetings, highs and lows, lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and opportunities that Iโ€™ll always be grateful for.

When I first got into speedway, I thought I was just starting a sport. What I didnโ€™t realise was that I was joining a community that would become a second family. Speedway has given me so much more than trophies and results. It has introduced me to some incredible people, taught me valuable life lessons, and given me experiences that many people never get the chance to have. It is a community that I am incredibly proud to be a part of.

Over the years Iโ€™ve travelled all over the North Island, spent countless weekends at race tracks, celebrated wins, learned from losses, and made memories that will stay with me forever. While Iโ€™m proud of what Iโ€™ve achieved on the track, itโ€™s the people and experiences behind it all that Iโ€™ll cherish the most.

To everyone who has been part of my journey, whether youโ€™ve helped in the pits, raced alongside me, supported from the grandstands, sponsored me, or simply cheered me on from afar, thank you. Every single person has played a part in making these six years so special.

A huge thank you to all of my sponsors who believed in me and helped make this journey possible:

โ€ข Clayton Automotive
โ€ข YBSlow Race Engines
โ€ข Life Tech
โ€ข Pro Cote
โ€ข Belair Mitzi
โ€ข Safe Store
โ€ข BNT
โ€ข Davies Tyres
โ€ข Bus Tech
โ€ข Rush Sim Racing
โ€ข Welding Technology
โ€ข Cattle Chassis
โ€ข Base Up
โ€ข Sportsweb Photography
โ€ข Pakaranga Transport
โ€ข Tintricks
โ€ข Bolt Link

A special thank you to the Gribbs family, Codi, Aunty Laura, Nana Vick, Gonzo, Steven Pattle, Shannon, Poppa and Grandad. Thank you for the support, advice, encouragement, and for always being there throughout the journey.

Most importantly, thank you Mum and Dad.

Looking back now, I realise just how much this opportunity meant to me. The countless kilometres travelled, the late nights in the shed, the early mornings, the weekends spent at race tracks, and the sacrifices you both made so I could do what I loved never went unnoticed. You gave me the chance to spend six years doing something I was passionate about, making memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. No trophy or result could ever compare to that. I am incredibly lucky and grateful to have had parents willing to put so much into helping me chase my dreams, and I will never be able to thank you enough for everything youโ€™ve done.

Some of the highlights from my Ministock career include:

๐Ÿ MIP Tier 1 Qualifier
๐Ÿ Gisborne 1200cc Qualifier
๐Ÿ 3rd King of the Park
๐Ÿ Most Spectacular Driver
๐Ÿ 1st Ministock Invasion Girls
๐Ÿ 1st Best Pairs FOS
๐Ÿ 1st Girl MIP Seniors
๐Ÿ MIP Reps Choice
๐Ÿ 3rd Baypark
๐Ÿ 2nd Future of Speedway Girls
๐Ÿ Oceanview 5000 Qualifier
๐Ÿ 1st Best Pairs Futures
๐Ÿ 1st MIP Girl Juniors
๐Ÿ 10th MIP Seniors
๐Ÿ Ministock Minties Moment
๐Ÿ Taipa Queen of the Clay

While Iโ€™m proud of these achievements, what Iโ€™ll remember most are the friendships, the laughs in the pits, the long trips away, the people Iโ€™ve met along the way, and the feeling of being part of something bigger than just racing.

To every competitor, crew member, official, sponsor, supporter, and friend Iโ€™ve met over the past six years, thank you for making speedway feel like home.

Although my time in Ministocks has come to an end, my speedway journey isnโ€™t over yet. Iโ€™m excited for whatโ€™s next and grateful to have so many amazing people behind me.

I hope all of my sponsors continue to support me in my next adventure, with some exciting news coming soon. Iโ€™m also incredibly grateful to welcome new sponsors on board, including R & L Beale.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this chapter. These six years have given me memories Iโ€™ll carry with me forever, friendships that will last a lifetime, and experiences Iโ€™ll never forget.

Excited for the next chapter- Tiana๐Ÿซก

Auckland Allstars Superstock Team vs Gisborne Giants final race.
Codi Chatfield passes 126g at the start of the race and continues to race with a flat left and 126g tries and gets close but never manages to pass him through the 15 laps due to the excellent work of his teammates Gary Lonergan 95a, Jamie Fergusson 96a and Cody Mac 72a.
Yet my laps records 126g twice with 2 identical lap times and puts him in front of Codi. The flag is dropped on the wrong team.
Watch this and Codi's incar for yourself.
Auckland Allstars won the race
