Shooting on film means no monitor telling you whether you got the shot, no instant replay and not much you can do once it’s done, so you trust the craft, hope for the best / much like our golf game / and wait to see what comes back from processing.

In a world where almost everything is instant, there’s something beautiful about choosing a process that asks for a little more patience, embraces a little uncertainty and leaves room for the imperfections that often give things their character. It’s a bit like opening a pack of Upper Decks back in the day / half the magic was not knowing what you were going to get until you opened it.
