It's been a huge few weeks in the setting department!

The team have been hard at work backfilling around the Bloc Fest finals climbs, which means this week you have got pretty much a full new gym of climbs to get stuck into.

New sets on the Ship, Archway and Comp Slab, plus the Bloc Fest comp sets still up, including the 30 qualifying boulders from the weekend still on the wall.

Bloc Fest Auckland | Saturday 22nd August.

Our setters will be getting to work on creating all the boulders for the comp from Wednesday 19th August.

That means a few walls are going off limits in the lead-up. Apologies for the disruption. 🙏

We’re gearing up for Bloc Fest and we need your help!

Saturday 22nd August | Boulder Co. Auckland.

We are looking for volunteers to fill roles such as judges, isolation wardens, water blasters and route st*****rs.

Bloc Fest is the comp with finals for all levels!

Finals grades will be:
Open C: V3-V4
Open B: V4-V5
Open A: V6+

A hidden cut-off in qualifiers separates the field into three finals rounds, so no matter what grade you climb, you could get to experience competing in a finals round, against other climbers of your same level!

Heads up Boulder Co. Auckland, we have some wall closures coming up this weekend due to the Auckland College Climbing Series.

Please take note of the affected walls and times before you come in.

Fri 14th Aug: Archway, Comp Slab and Comp Overhang closed from 12:00pm.

Sat 15th Aug: Archway, Comp Slab and Comp Overhang closed all day.

Sun 16th Aug: All walls closed 9:00am–12:00pm, then Archway, Comp Slab and Comp Overhang closed again 12:00pm–3:00pm.

Plenty of wall still open across the weekend, and we appreciate your patience while we host what is set to be a fantastic event.
