Another great shoot with 11 squads, shot over triples, doubles and single barrel. Weather could’ve been better but we always push through. Thanks to everyone who makes these shoots happen!

SUNDAY 16TH AUGUST SHOOT

It was amazing to see so many young shooters at our Patrons cup on Sunday, with 18 senior/junior teams and 14 squads! A special mention to the three teams who placed, all shooting a 100/100 in the competition. As well as this, three more teams got a 99/100, so very high scores all round. A big thank you to Dave Fox and his team for their hard work, the club room is looking fantastic with its new paint job, so come and see it at the next shoot. 👀

Evening Shooters
The club will be CLOSED for practice this Wednesday. We will be open again this Saturday 1st August for practice and on Sunday 2nd we look forward to seeing you all at the Patrons Cup - a 100 Single rise including the first 50 being the junior and senior pairs event.

100 DTL & PATRONS CUP

How good was our day?! Big scores across all classes today. Shoot off in A grade between three 100’s, a special well done to Varinder on your first 100 straight, keep up the good work. B grade was won with a 98 and C grade a 97! We had 12 squads of DTL, and 2 squads of S***t today. Thanks to everyone who attended and we look forward to a good event next shoot being our Patrons Cup.

SUNDAY 19TH SHOOT 100 DTL OR 100 S***T

The North Island secondary school championships were held at Waikato gun club on Saturday.

Congratulations to our younger club members Ava Williams, Emma Lane and Isla Robinson for placing 2nd in the girls teams event.

Bryn Mair was the highest junior for single barrel and came away 3rd place in Senior single barrel after a shoot off.

We have a great number of young school shooters at our club and we are proud of all your achievements 💥💥

Perfect conditions and two perfect scores from Owen Robinson and Darryl Bott, resulting in a mighty shoot off going almost another 75 targets. Great turn out and a big thanks to all who attended 💪💥💥
