Great to get back on the water before kicking off the 2026-2027 season! We dusted the paddles off for a fun day of racing at the Winter Super 10.
It was close calls for the mixed grand final but Lion finished the day in 1st 💪🏽🥇
Awesome mahi from our raiona whānau paddling with Mana Taniwha (placing 2nd and 4th) ahead of their journey to Pan Pac this November!!!👏

FLION is cleared for take-off. 🛫
A massive thanks to our whānau for jumping in and helping us put together a blended crew for the Tauranga Super 12s, and to Ana from for being our in-flight caller. One of the best things about dragon boating is seeing clubs come together to help get a crew on the water.
Turns out FLION can fly, cruising to a 🥈 finish in the Grand Final.
Thanks for flying FLION Airways. You never know… you might just see us back in the skies again soon. 😜
