A great afternoon at the Girls Rugby Festival in Timaru on Thursday. We took a combined Year 1-2 Girls Rippa squad down for some fun with teams from across South Canterbury. It was tough going for the girls with the wet weather forcing the games to be played indoors. However that didn’t diminish their spirit with the girls continuing to slide on the floor for rips 😦 plenty of smiling faces and red knees at the end of the day’s play. We finished the afternoon with a meet and greet with players from Matatu and a sausage sizzle. So proud of our girls!
