Men’s Pennants

A successful day today for our pennants teams in the finals at Geraldine Golf Club with Tinwald taking home 2 flags.

In the Redpath grade our lads beat Gleniti 9-3.
The team today of John Smitheram, Gordy Kenton, Jason Mactier and Struan Scott.
Throughout the year they also had Kevin Greenaway, Nick Wilson and Rodney O’Neill play for them.

In the Hayes grade Tinwald Black defeated Tinwald 10-2. The winning team of Dave King, Dave Morrison, Poko Paraia and Alex Roa.
Nigel Heney and Regan Stills also played for them during the year!

Dave King also won the Salver for best individual record in the Holmes/Hayes for 2026.

Well done all on a great season!!

We would like to take this time to acknowledge Harry Smith who has finished his time at Tinwald Golf Club.

Harry, as our club manager and coach, has made many positive changes to our club and systems that will continue to benefit us going forward. His coaching was highly regarded within the district and seen our club grow our junior membership significantly.

We wish Harry all the best as he takes his coaching skills full time at Sir Bob Charles Golf Centre in Christchurch.
