100 Sessions. What a milestone.
This morning, Marina Brown reached her 100th session at L.O.S.O. 👏🏾
If you’ve ever trained alongside Marina, you’ll know exactly why we’re celebrating.
She walks through the doors with a smile, brings positive energy to every class, encourages the people around her, and somehow manages to make even the toughest workouts feel a little more fun with a song and a dance 😂
That kind of attitude is contagious, and it’s a huge part of what makes her and our community so special.
But behind that smile is something even more powerful...
Consistency.
One session at a time. One choice after another. Showing up on the good days, the hard days, and everything in between.
Because the biggest changes don’t come from one perfect workout.
They come from continuing to choose yourself.
At L.O.S.O., we believe fitness is about so much more than the physical. It’s about improving your mental health, building confidence, reducing stress, and finding a place where you genuinely want to be.

The truth? Real progress comes from showing up consistently, not perfectly. Every strong, confident woman started somewhere, and none of them had it all figured out on day one.

Seems like yesterday this superstar walked through the doors! Dani Martin joined up already losing 16kgs but had hit a plateau and needed some guidance!
We sat down, assessed her eating, current activity level and what her sleep was like!
She was doing a lot of running and some online workouts which had worked for her but then stopped.
We calculated how much food she needed each day, dropped her running to 3 times a week and added 3 weights sessions a week, and upped her protein intake!
At first it was challenging but she found her groove and has kicked off the fat loss again, but more importantly, her strength has increased from lifting 2kg dumbbells to deadlifting 70kgs!
Her confidence is growing every week and she definitely isn’t the same woman that walked through these doors!!
We are so grateful and happy to be a small part of her journey and we will be there guiding, pushing and supporting her when she hits that next 20kg fat loss milestone!

You Really Don’t Need to Be Perfect.
One of the biggest misconceptions people have before starting at L.O.S.O. is that they need to get fitter before they join.
They think they need to lose some weight first.
Get their motivation back.
Start running or lifting.
Spend a few weeks in the gym on their own.
The truth?
That’s exactly what we’re here for.
Most people who walk through our doors aren’t at their fittest. They haven’t been training consistently for years. Some haven’t exercised in months. Others haven’t stepped foot in a gym for decades.
And that’s completely okay.
You don’t need to keep up with anyone.
You don’t need to lift heavier weights than anyone .
You don’t need to know what you’re doing.
You just need to START.
Every workout can be adjusted to suit where you’re at right now. Whether you’re returning from a long break, carrying a few injuries, or simply feeling nervous about your fitness level, our coaches will help you move at a pace that works for you.
NOBODY is judging you.
In fact, the people you’ll see crushing workouts today were often standing exactly where you are now… wondering if they were fit enough to join.
The hardest part is usually walking through the door for the first time.
After that, you’ll realise something pretty quickly:
L.O.S.O. isn’t full of fitness fanatics trying to be perfect.
It’s full of everyday people who decided to stop waiting for the “right time” and just started working on themselves.

When everything went smoothly.

Even when when she injured herself (outside of the gym 🙄)
Lizzy Klopper just kept showing up!
We are beyond proud of her and all her efforts.
Was it an easy road? No
Was there ups and downs? Yes, or course
Was it worth it? She’ll say “1million percent it is”
And she’ll show up again tomorrow to prove it!
Now we’ve set some new goals, revisited some old ones, and a new plan is in place to get this woman to the stage!
